Entreprises Vidéo Service was founded in 1988. In its early days, Video Service rented video equipment for exhibitions, conferences and conventions. In January 1993, after analyzing the market, Bruno Tardy and Patrice Larose decided to focus on video camera rentals. Within a few years, the inventory of rental equipment took on unexpected proportions, and the lighting and grip departments came to fill the needs of producers. With the advent of digital and HD, the company underwent a remarkable expansion and positioned itself as one of the largest digital video camera rental companies in Quebec.
In March 2021, Dima Productions Inc headed by Didier Théodore and Mylène Beauchemin Côté took a strategic step forward with the acquisition of Entreprises Vidéo Service. This acquisition consolidated our strengths and strengthened our position in the audiovisual equipment rental market.
